For the last quarter of 2014, MediCopy is so proud to recognize Amy Odom as our Employee of the Quarter! Amy has gone above and beyond this past year, helping in every way possible to make the Disability Form Department run efficiently. While our Disability Department Manager was away on maternity leave last quarter, Amy stepped up and took charge, making sure everything ran smoothly during the leave. She is always friendly and pleasant with callers and completes forms in a timely manner, to ensure benefits for patients are received quickly. What most excites you about your work and the contribution(s) you can make?
Feeling like part of a team and that I am truly contributing to the growth of the company. As well as helping people out and making them feel good when they are experiencing hardships.
What's the one problem you are best at solving for your clients/customers? What skill(s) do you have a knack for?
I am good at understanding what the patient needs and able to get it done quickly. When it comes to completing forms, time is precious and any delays can greatly affect the patient. Because of that, I try to make the process as easy and as smooth as possible for the patient.
You're a new addition to the crayon box, what color would you be and why?
Blazing Red, because I like to make new paths and help create shortcuts for others, so that their experience might be a little easier.
What would be impossible for you to give up?
Time with my children and Dr. Pepper.
If you could travel back in time to any specific time period, which would you choose and why?
Nothing, because I feel everything happens for a reason.
