What to do in Nashville

\We are excited to share our city with you! As you start planning for your trip to Nashville for the 2019 AAOE conference, we wanted to share a few of our favorite spots in Nashville.

Foodies, do I have good news for you! Nashville is home to dozens of restaurants you must try. If you are wanting to stay in the hotel, Old Hickory Steakhouse, Findley’s, and Ravello are great options. If you want to venture out to downtown, we suggest Martin’s BBQ, Hattie B’s Hot Chicken, The Southern, or Husk.

Shoppers, you are going to be thrilled. Right across the street from the resort is the Opry Mills Mall. This is not your average mall. This mall is 1.2 million square feet. Most of the stores are outlets so you will be able to score some amazing deals!

Pack your clubs (or rent from the course). Located just across the street from the hotel is the Gaylord Springs Golf Links. This is one of Nashville’s nicest public courses. The weekend rate for 18 holes is $81. This includes practice range access and your cart rental. To reserve a tee time click here

Fitness Gurus

Fitness Gurus, we didn’t forget you! The Opryland Hotel does have a large, state of the art fitness center as well. Just promise me this - get your workout in the morning so you can have fun with the rest of us!

Night Owls

Do you want to enjoy the nightlife in Nashville? Broadway is a great place to start. You can hear live music, grab dinner, or enjoy a drink! We recommend you stop by Tootsies or Robert’s Western World.

Oh, and do not forget your swimsuits! The Gaylord Opryland Resort also has an indoor waterpark on-site, SoundWaves.

I hope you are all as excited as we are! We can’t wait to meet each of you! If you would like to set up a time to chat with us while we enjoy Nashville, click here
