It’s that time of year again. The time that children dread and parents rejoice - the start of a new school year. Starting a new year at school can bring about many health concerns for children such as increased exposure to germs, stress, back problems from heavy backpacks, and lack of sleep. The good news is there are many ways you can set your child up for success!

  2. Realign sleep patterns. Your kids have probably started to go asleep and wake up later than they would during the school year. It is a good idea to start a week or two before school getting used to the new schedule so your child is alert and ready to learn at school.

  4. Get active. It is critical for your children to learn to live a healthy lifestyle at a young age so they can carry these habits with them for their entire life. Here are some good ways to keep your kids active.
